YouTube Fame
So I have been trying to become popular on YouTube for quite some time now. It turns out that its not near as easy as it may seem. My YouTube channel is http://www.youtube.com/nerdseat. I have been trying to study YouTubers who are on the most subscribed list and see if there is a way to mimic their habits and possible work my way to the top as well. I noticed that ...
-The majority of these people upload videos nearly everyday and are consistent and committed to their viewers.
-They all try and avoid having any down time in their videos.
-They don't make videos that are too long in order to keep the audience from getting bored.
-These are just a few of the main habits that i noticed of the top subscribed list that really seem to be common. It may sound simple to accomplish these tasks but it does take a lot of time and practice. A few other things that i have tried in order to become more popular include...
-Adding as many friends as possible everyday
-Leaving as many comments on channels and videos as i can (not spam but legitimate comments)
-Posting my videos as responses to a related video that is on the rise
-Adding links to my videos anywhere i can (facebook, myspace, twitter, ect.)
-Making parody videos of popular or on the rise videos
-Making my channel more unique and catchy by making a custom background
These methods have increased my views significantly. Nothing enough to put me up in the top ranks but its better than nothing.
I haven't gotten to read all of these books and stuff but i have been searching the internet for youtube resources and these are what i found. They all seem to have some valuable benefits.
